There are many large organisations that are anxious to exploit the significant benefits and competitive advantages that converged technologies bring but are held back by inflexible telephony and data systems that will not easily communicate with one another.

Avaya have solved this problem through their Communications Manager system that protects prior infrastructure investments while exploiting the full power of a converged system across distributed networks of media gateways and a wide range of analog, digital, and IP-based communication.
